DAAAAA moment, help

OK, I'm having a DAAAA moment. I had removed the heater unit in the 65' to replace the heater core and also pulled out the two cables that operate the HEAT & TEMP control. These are the controls that are under the dash. I wanted to power lube the cables and since the heater was out, its much easier to get the one that goes through the fire wall. WELL,,, I went to reinstall them and for the life of me, I can't remember which cable goes in which hole on the bracket. I think the Heat cable goes to the left and the temp cable to the right. Please tell me I'm not loosing it.
Maybe I should go grab a beer and think about this some more.

The two ***** are on a bracket below the dash, labeled Temp and Heat. The Heat **** opens a valve in the heater hose on the firewall, letting hot water flow in the heater core. The Temp **** controls another flapper inside the heater box which mixes cooler outside air with air inside the cab. This gives you a modicum of temperature control.
Not quite sure which one goes where. Put them the way you think, if cable doesn't reach, reverse them.

Hey Robert, how ya getting along? Yeah, pretty much know where they go, just not which hole they went in, left/right. Good info though for those that follow the thread. They have never been out of the bracket since they were installed from the factory and its been a while since I pulled the core to have it repaired. Never really used the heater much over they yrs. Feel a little dumb here not remembering which side the heat went on. I know its not a big thing but sometimes I'm just **** about things. Maybe I'm just refusing to admit I'm having a brain fart. ;o)

^ 1964 is not the same as 1965. ^

1965/66 with deluxe fresh air heater: Two cables mount to a bracket located under the dash, to the right of the steering column.

Left: C5TZ-18552-B .. Heater Fresh Air Cable-23.50" long / Operates damper door that allows fresh air to flow into the heater plenum chamber.

Right: C5TZ-18518-A .. Heater Temperature Control Cable-42.53" long / Attaches to C3UZ-18495-A .. Heater Water Valve that is spliced into the inlet to heater core heater hose.

WELL, there ya go. I knew Bill would know which side each cable went on. Good thing I didn't put them in today. I was going to put the longer HEAT temp control cable on the left. Guess I am getting forgetful.
Thanks Bill.
