Bullnose dash, bricknose pedals

I keep meaning to look since I have both bull and brick noses; although none with their dash's out, but can the bullnose dash fit with the bricknose pedals? The reason I ask is that manual bullnose pedals are close to un-ubtainum around me. I realize it's not a bolt on, but with some mild fab could it be done?

Thanks

I am pretty sure the bullnose trucks share the same pedal assembly as the bricknose. They didn't change until the 92-96 trucks.
At least this is what LMC and other places say. I have removed so many pedal assemblies I can't remember.

I've heard the opposite. There is some issue where the dash bolts up to the pedals on the bricknose.

Hmm. Maybe somehow I got the wrong information or I am not remembering correctly.
Curious to see what others say though.

Maybe it's just the beer talking right now, but in my opinion there ain't NOTHING that can't be made to fit with careful use of a grinder, sawzall, and welder.

I bet you can make the bullnose pedals fit the bricknose...

I was going to post a photo of the differences between the 80 to 86 and 87 to 91 pedal assys, but for some stupid reason I cannot get the photo gallery to open and post photos!!!

Short answer is the pedal assys are NOT interchangeable between years. Have to use the correct year range pedal assys with correct year range dash/firewall mounts.

ha, found my photo via post search

This is a 84 dash assy set in place in a 87 cab, the bracket will not fit.

You could try to have it TIG welded. Ask around a few welding shops, my friend had is 88 repaired that way.
Here's the post with more info: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...e-bracket.html

I've got '92 pedals that I found out after the fact aren't right for my '89. After looking at them, it might be doable to make them work. I have a welder! Might just take the clutch pedal from the '92 and use it in the '89 assy. Then just have to fab up the return spring set up. If I can't come up with 89 pedal assy.
