Name that part!

Hey guys, got a quick question here. Today i noticed a good amount of water leaking from the passenger side front wheel well. Seemed to be water, clear with no smell or taste. It also appears to only leak after shutting the truck off. Anyways, found the culprit but have no idea what it is. hopefully someone can tell me what the problem is here.

thanks in advance.

That would be your A/C reciever/dryer. Perfectly normal for it to sweat. Esp. If you have the defrost on and hot air blowing out.

FYI that has nothing in particular to do with a diesel, it's a standard automotive A/C component.

What do you have going on with all that wiring hanging all over the place? That looks like a problem waiting to happen - wires getting pulled out or just will be massively in the way for future service of parts underneath. I'm glad it's at least fused, though.

I understand that. The wiring you are talking about is for my amp research steps. Its a cluster you know what. But it is normally tucked away. I had just pulled it out while I was under the hood poking around.
