Headers Question

Question.....I am looking to install headers on my 90 Bronco w/351w. I am wondering if the EGR/AIR pipe fitting will still work with a header setup. I don't want my computer to think the truck is all out of wack! I called JEGS about their Hooker Headers setup and the tech told me that the headers do not come with the pipe fitting that leads up to the upper intake manifold/throttle body via the EGR Valve. Are there other headers on the market that will include this setup? What would happen if I were to run without my EGR?

KJ

Headers Question

There are some in the jegs catalog. You could posably have a fitting welded on.

Headers Question

summit racing has a set of shorties as does JBA and Gibson. All smog legal w/ the fitting for EGR. Bolt right in place of stock exhaust manifold. JBA and Gibson are expesive, but worth it. Summit's aren't all that good.
