Changing exhaust manifolds for headers 1995 F700
I have a 1995 F700 with 429, and I have ordered a set to Doug Thorley headers for it. Here is a little background. Before I bought the truck the cataylic converter was removed, and it has single pipes with mufflers on each side.
The headers have the Fittings for the EGR tube and the A.I.R. on left side (driver) and a A.I.R. fitting to go to the Cataylic converter on the right side (passenger).
My question is can I block off everything except the EGR tube, and the engine run properly?

I'm making some assumptions here, but if the 429 is the same as the 460 for the same year engine management wise, you can remove everything if you want to. You can even eliminate the EGR by plugging the lines, but leaving the EGR module connected so that the computer thinks that the EGR is operating, thereby eliminating the ECU throwing a code. The A.I.R. stuff can all be removed as there is no purpose for it without the catalytic converter, and the ECU has no way to monitor that system.
