tries to self start

tries to self start
My 1998 F150 4.6 v8 tries to self start no key or anything.Any help with whats wrong? It will start and drive fine,when I stop take the key out and wait a few minutes,it tries to start on its own.So I unhook the battery cable to stop it.

Ghosts, gremlins, etc...
May be a lot of things, you haven't given us anything to work with in terms of specifics.
Could be a number of things:
Water in the under dash fuse box shorting the starter circuit to power. (Leaky Windshield Syndrome).
Bad ignition switch.
Mice eating wiring insulation.
Malfunctioning remote starter, if equipped.
Etc.
May be a lot of things, you haven't given us anything to work with in terms of specifics.
