Have you verified in fact that you have 8 or 10s?
I would check before you order the wrong ones.
Well I'm on the other side of the world right now, I'm going to go ahead guess the 94.5 was an 8bolt. Since it was the first to come out, I doubt it would have 10bolt plenums. I'm pretty sure that 10 bolt plenum didn't come out until 96/97 and on.
So I think I have some aluminum kicking around has anyone made their own plenums that don't distort and blow the silicon seal? Or can I just flatten the original and hope for the best?

I built my own with 1/4" steel and some thin wall 3" O.D. pipe.
Hmmm. Flat then. No problem even easier to make. I haven't had the plenums off so I don't know what it looks like under there. There must not be much of a flow restriction otherwise it would have a bit of flare from the pipe to the plate... Hard to describe.
I can't believe how many nice OBS trucks are on the Sunshine Coast! Even saw a 70's single cab powerstroke! Awesome. I should move here....
Yeah. A little work here over the next couple months. Here a few days then Whistler and back to the city for Monday. I'll have to get a new commuter soon!

good times. Are you doing the plenum there. I have a set of 2" ones here
Nope the truck is at home. I haven't driven it too much after the clutch slipped on the haul back.
The plenum let go after delivering a small welding job in Whistler. I thought it was a pipe and redid everything but it was still leaking on a trip to the city for supplies.
It's a bummer but I can fix it. Just want to make a plenum with the scrap I have laying around. Seems like the way to fix it.
Well I made a boost leak tester today with a tire filler thing and a abs pipe cap. It works really good and I can turn the air on and off by squeezing the handle.
My leaks are not as bad as I thought. One boot from the spyder to the plenum will not seal. It keeps sliding up and loosing clamping force. It seems there should be a roll bead on the plenum to keep the boots from moving. What is the best way to stop this?
