You need to keep in mind at what RPM your engine reaches peak torque and HP. The 300 reaches its peak at significantly lower RPM's (around 2300) whereas the majority of the V8's don't get there until 2700-2900. That may not seem like much but it makes a huge difference when you start doing the exponential calculations for axle gearing.

The guy at ORW located where I live said that my stock gears are fine but he can regear it if I would like to but he said it wouldn't do much but get probably 1mpg gain

The OP's bronco would have overdrive. with that said he really needs to fill out his signature in the control panel of the forum with spec on his bronco. list the year, engine, trans and any other mods currently in place. this helps us help you.
now with that said. if you plan on only running 33's and you have a 5.8 I would suggest 4.10s or even 4.56 if for some reason 35's end up under your ride. I run 4.88's with 35's and with the OD its perfect in my opinion.
