OBD2 app

Hey, is anyone using this diagnostic app fro apple and if so, what is the bluetooth device you are using with it?

Dashboss is the only one that I am aware of. It's pricey but worth it IMO.

If you look in the App Store you'll find a half dozen or more apps. I think they all have their own hardware device you must purchase separately. DashBoss works very well.

FORscan is the best bang for the buck. All the 6.0 parameters and a simple WiFi/ Bluetooth adapter for under $25.

It sounds like it would be cheaper to buy an android tablet and the Torque Pro app than dash boss!

FORScan would be less than $30 out the door.

DashBoss, at this point, is out of touch with the market. DB had licensed Bluetooth certificates and an approved apple OBD device that made up the high price.

Which is now no longer necasary.
