Ford Expedition 2003. Put in new headlight assemblies. It all works fine, but both are pointed way too low. There is apparently one adjustment screw, horizontal, sticking out of the back of the headlight assembly, that adjusts the up and down of the headlight. It takes a 4mm wrench. I finally got a 4mm wrench and cranked it clockwise (like I'm screwing it into the housing) and it definitely lowered the light (wrong direction). So I cranked it counter-clockwise (like I would be unscrewing it from the housing), and it went back to where it started and that's all. Further ccw screwing does nothing. At 25' the light is like a foot low on the wall. Any thoughts?
May have solved my own problem. The adjuster screw on this headlight is not attached to anything inside the headlight casing. Apparently defective from the manufacturer.
