tranny?
What 5 speed tranny is usually behind a 5.4l is it the zf s5-42 or would it be the zf s5-47 and what's the difference in the two?
I split my transfercase adapter/transmission extension housing and can't seem to figure out what I tranny it is between the two. All help would be appreciated.

I believe it should be an S5-47M. The -42's were never fitted with the modular bell housing.
