Question Trailer problem

I have a 95 F-150 and my lights and everything was working great. Now my driver side rear signal and break light dont work anymore. The plug in the rear is a 7 pin and I have found the problem to be in the truck and not the trailer. I am prety sure that it is the yellow wire and I have traced it form the rear to under the dash and there is no break in it. I am not sure if it is hot or not or what it is supposed to be. HELP.

It should go hot when you hit the brakes, just like the other side. Have you changed the bulb?

I see this commonly when a bad 4 way flasher switch is in the on position. It will disable the brakelights and one or both turnsignals. You can usually get it back by putting the 4 way flasher back to the off position, but the proper fix is to replace the multifunction switch.
