63/223/T98/4 on floor - changing clutch and new kit has release bearing but no assembly (or hub) - I thought that was all one piece but shop manual shows two pieces. My question - is it easier to replace the whole assembly or remove the bearing from the old assembly and put a new one on. I do not know how the bearing is removed or secured either and have no special tools.

Beginning in 1965, the throw out bearing/collar is a one piece assembly.
1961/64: The throw out bearing is separate from the collar, bearing has to be pressed off/on.
The original collar has a zerk (grease) fitting that threads on. Replacement collar might have it, might not.
