Have a 2012 350 cclb 4x4 6.7 lariat, interior lights don't work. Not with any door open, Not with switch. map lights work. We've checked every fuse in cab and under hood. Any ideas what to check now ?
All light bulbs work. The individual switches on the actual lights work. When any door is open the interior lights and cargo light do not come on. The manual dimmer switch will not turn on the lights either.
I'm not sure if that is it. All the outside lights come on normally when each door is opened, only the interior and cargo light do not come on. The lights used to work, but all of a sudden a couple weeks ago they stopped working.
sounds like the 'police dark mode' might be turned on, which has to be changed at the dealership
I like it. Check to see if the "dummy chime" works when you open the door - like if you left your keys in the ignition or lights on. Those will still work if light outage is due to Police Dark Mode. Otherwise, maybe the door switches are bad?
However, the "The manual dimmer switch will not turn on the lights either." is throwing me off. I think that should still work with Police Dark Mode. Should also work if door switch issue. Maybe the dimmer is the problem?
I am kind of leaning towards the dimmer switch, but I haven't been able to find a good wiring diagram for it. Unfortunately I don't have my tester w/ me so I can't confirm if fuse 12 has power to it, but I know the fuse is good as I tested it in another circuit
