Naw, they gave them color big screen HD TV's for that.
They put them on the hill because the civil war era colonial house for the wardens home and office was already on the property and they couldn't find anyplace more expensive to buy and spend tax payer money on in the local area.

Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Lunch time! Lots of rain, but not as bad as day before yesterday. Have had Thunder and Lightening, sent the dogs off to hide their heads in their beds and wind has hit 42 mph.

Christmas lights set for the bushes out front and laser set for the house as well.
Yes, it is aimed plenty low so as not to upset the pilot should life flight have the need to land in the back yard. Sure is an easy way to mount hundreds of lights on the front of the house!

Just hanging out here on the dry side. We have had a few drops, but not much. I went out and trimmed up a few more logs.....might finish up tomorow with what's on the ground.
