BTW: Thanks for the info John! Can never have enough storage!
Dodge has that running for them, good lord...The rear seats have storage, slats in the sides at your feet, back of seats, 2 in the front center seat, 2 glove boxes, 2 on the dash.... etc etc
Are you sure the timing chain hasn't jumped a few teeth. It happened to me once, jumped two teeth and sounds the same as the trouble you are having. Might be time to by a new set.
Oh no the timing was fine until this moron that was over decided to screw with it! You see the carb has been a small issue. it was late and he said he was just going to adjust the screws on the carb. Well next thing I know he is messing with the distributor/timing and the choke! mind you I did not ask him too, they were fine. So I been trying to correct his mess ever since. I swear to god if he comes near my truck again, Mr Mossburg is going to show him the way down the road!
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Pipe company finally moved a truck and let us out of our driveway so we could go to town and get some groceries. They were completely gone when we just got home, so the job must be done.
They told us there would be a couple of big trucks out here all day long. They never told us they were going to have our egress and ingress blocked.

How can he adjust the timing with no marks and no timing light?..........Adjusting by ear/feel can only be attempted on a FULLY warmed up engine, and remember to pull off and plug the vacuum advance line to the dist. when timing.
On a WARM engine, turn the mixture screws in all the way till' they stop, then bring them out 1 1/2 turns to start off, then adjust until you get a smooth idle, then you can adjust the curb idle screw to get your final idle rpms in drive, for a carbed 460 (in drive).........about 700/750 rpms.
Well I messed with the timing, yes when it was more lol Use to do that on my VW's. I think I got it close. Just the carb is kicking my butt. It is an edelbrock, I found a picture of what it looks like. I just can't seem to get it set right
That's an Edelbrock build of the Carter AFB (aluminum four barrel). They are really pretty simple.
External adjustments are idle RPM, idle mixture, metering rod height, and amount of accelerator pump squirt. Inside, you can set bowl float level and metering jet size. Oh yea, choke setting, too.
