Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Home from the farm. Chores done. Going to be tearing the highway out front up in the morning. Doing some kind of work on the sewer lines. Got the Mazda taken down to storage today so that is out of my hair for a bit.
Another long day behind me. Good thing I get tomorrow off.
Had to drive the work truck out to gervais to pick up fence posts. Had enough to make that 1/4 ton squat so bad the front end felt like it was gonna fly. Amazed I didnt lift it off the ground altogether on the way back.
Then I got to play construction worker and begin fixing and cleaning produce racks. I think I might be out of it for awhile, I had to use some serious chemicals. I know how ya feel john....

It's the 2002 Mazda Protégé that used to be the MIL's. Only has 40K on it, but the Warden would rather drive the Sable. Can't say I blame her, but I'm not sure how much the Sable has left to give.

Got my chores done early. Fed the critters and myself. Watching some Supercross on DVR and enjoying some adult beverages.
I hear Spring Break at Panama Beach Florida is much more exciting than Spring Break at Rockaway Beach Oregon.

It isn't a bad little car - I guess. It has been very reliable requiring nothing but oil changes, but it does have an ECL that came on a week ago, right after the Warden put gas in it. Checked the gas cap and it seems fine. Haven't found the computer port to plug the scanner into yet, but haven't really looked that hard. I'll deal with that later.
It is going to sit in storage for awhile since no one is really driving it except for the occasional short trips to keep the oil circulating and avoid flat spots on the tires.
Hey tiny, how empty is your wallet gonna be by the time they get back??
It was empty before they left... Since I didn't work on Saturday at the farm I didn't get my mid payday stipend. Beans and rice for the next few days. In fact I'm working on partial bottles of liquor in an effort to clean things up around the house.
No difference either way to me. I'm staying home and contributing to you retired folks betterment!
Not contributing to mine yet, but I'm sure Don appreciates your efforts. I'm on my Tier 1 P & F pension and an itsy bitsy service connected disability check.
We aren't going to sell it. It will replace the Sable after it takes its final breath - although that will be a sad day. Had the Sable for 15 years. We'll see how it is doing when it comes up for it's next set of tires.
