Morning Don, started work on another bug engine yesterday. This one had a oil pressure problem. Found a screw jammed in the oil pressure relief valve locking it in the open position. The guy I got the bug from said his wife drove it for five miles that way.

The crank is not that bad. The bearing didn't eat itself all the way. I'm thinking about sending it out to be polished or ground.

Yes sir up and running needs some carb and timing work but appears to be running well.

Yea, but there's lots of downsides to living in close proximity to ten million others. The normally-nice winters draws 'em in like flies.
I don't go out as much as I once did, and then only mid-day or late evenings, just to miss the almost unbearable traffic.
