Morning Gents! Not sure if I have a cold or allergies..... stuffy nose, sneezing and sore throat, hard to say since the plum tree is blooming, guess ill know once it starts to freeze here again. Maybe I can get myself warm enough to sweat it out...

I was contemplating buying my buddies camper but I wanted to see if there were any other options.
Don, any suggestions to convince my folks that I know what I am doing 50% of the time?
I want that 68, I just need to figure out a date to get over there and take a look. then figure out how to get it home..... I have everything worked out except for that, and my folks.

that's true. They want me to buy something reliable. something I dont have to work on...
The irony in this whole quarrel is that no matter how many times I prove them to be wrong, and that I can A: find the funds B: know how to get it done, they still doubt me. but thats enough of my ranting....
anyhow, any suggestions on how to get the trucks over here if I buy them?
just a thought, but isnt the vehicle you drive only as reliable as the person who works on it?

I could probably tow the 68 with my truck, would have to rent a u-haul though... have someone drive me over and I can drive the 88 back. would have to see if my uncle would do the towing with his pickup and trailer, ill drive the 88 back...

Things did not go well for me today, the rear leaf spring kit that I have is set up for an axle tube that is 3" round, the Explorer axle I have is a 3 1/4 " tube, U- bolts won't fit. seems I can't buy anything that doesn't lead to problems.
