Once we get it down to 3 good choices I'll start a new thread with a poll and then start a list of buyers. Everything will be paid in advance, and if you're not interested in the final choice then you can always just drop out.

USGG_PA, can you put together 3 of the best ones you have (we just need one side) and then take a few ideas from everyone here for a "forum sourced" idea. I'll try to get everything together for a new thread for Friday.

I am going with my gut to say that the Mountain, Horse and ??? were the three most liked?

I think that we might end up with a split decision between designs. But one thing to think about, is that for each different badge (mountain has 3, horse has 2) there will be additional costs.

So that being said, IF we could come up with a one badge for all three places, that would be the most cost effective.

Lets pull together ideas here on the thread until this Friday, then I will see what I can put together, and then we can move forward, even vote if needed.

Deal?

I'm willing to bet that the mountains, horsey, and tank will be the final runners :-P

As much as I like the idea of having the 3 piece set with the mountains, i think it would be most cost effective to just do the sides.

I'd almost be tempted to buy two sets just to help the pot. Keep a set for a future Ex, or something to put up for sale on ebay or something. I'd only put the spare up for sale if everyone in the group buy was cool with that idea. Something as exclusive as a set of these badges would be rare.

Imagine what it would be like to be driving around town and spot someone with a set.
Now imagine what it would be like if you saw a set of them and didn't have a set yourself :-(

I have been looking at mountain logo ideas, as something just did not feel right about the logo I already made.

Then I saw this, and it all clicked as to why the design felt just a little off...

Chevy has already walked this path! I think we may need to rerack and walk our own, or at least make sure that whatever we do, it is way better looking!

Well you did a really creative Ford-centric thing with the pony. Surely there's other things like that. Perhaps another pony variation? Maybe use the theme of "The Built Ford Tough" logo with the bolts/industrial feel? Just trying to help with inspiration.

I see what you mean. I was thinking it reminded me of the Coors Mountains. It's different enough, I still really it. However, I completely agree with you. I'm going to see if I can't brainstorm a couple extra ideas too

I found a picture that might give some more ideas on the Iron Horse Edition. I like the idea of the head being down like he/she is pulling a load.

If we want, that style horse should not be too hard...

How about this for a "new" mountain look?

The Lat and Long just happens to be the Flag Poles in front of the KY Ford truck plant.

I really like the tank, but I don't think 25 of them is going to be the best option.

Actually, if you think about it, the tank would be 25 for the right, another 25 for the left, and then another 25 for the back. Granted the right side and the back would be the same, but that means 50 of them and 25 for the left.

It is lust a lot of badges and a lot of money

As for any new designs, I seemed to be tapped out at the moment.

Maybe we all should jest get some of these and stick them where we want :P

David, I showed my wife the Iron Horse edition badges since the Ex is hers and she needs to approve the design before I put it on her rig. Since she is a diehard horse lady, she raised her eyebrow and very directly told me to pass on to you that the clydesdale you have on the badge is an old nag and not a clydesdale.

She said the withers are too pronounced, it has a huge swayback, and the barrel doesn't go far enough back to the legs.

Hey bud, no offense....I'm just the messenger! She gets very passionate when it comes to horses.
