Something I wanted to point out... I think the "Edition" needs to be dropped. If I'm off then just forget I said anything but we don't really have "Editions" of these. We are using the fact that our rigs are "Iron Horses" to come up with the badges (in this example) and THAT is what sets us apart, not our "Edition". Like I said, if you disagree let me know because I'm open to criticism and opinions and if I'm wrong I want to know why
If we were each getting our own badges or if we we all had something in common (with our trucks) it would be different. I would have "The End Edition", but "I don't want the "Iron Horse Edition". The whole point of my truck is becoming "Dead Reckoning", my favorite truck ever.

I am not artistic or I would give an example but why not just include the basics. Excursion / 5.4 V8, or 6.8 V10, or 7.3 PS, or 6.0 PS / and then 4x4, or 4x2 if wanted, in a cool font.

Well the issue here is we can only have one badge. Any changes to the first one no matter how small keeps it from being a GB/BB. If we each get our own engine size we can't do it Plus there are some here that aren't all that excited about flaunting their motor size
Here is the New Iron Horse Edition. I can leave the "Edition" on or take it off.
This I like. The other Ford products with horses have the horse doing different things. The Mustang's horse is running, the Bronco's is kicking, it only makes sense for the Ex's horse to be pulling.
As for the "Edition" I can take it or leave it, it makes no difference. Hell, you can even pull the words off completely as far as I am concerned. Just Have Excursion and the pulling horse.

I agree, "Edition" isn't really needed in this sense. If we were to pull "Iron Horse" off of it, the Excursion lettering could be bigger. We all know Bigger is mo'better. :P
Not at the moment, but give me time. There is no way to know what will hit me and I will just have to try and see how it looks!
The biggest issue is taking an idea and making it into something that can be translated into billet form. Any old photo will just not work when it comes to that style of final project.
I may just do the XXL SUV/ Living Large... It kinda works for me.
You might as well have them make exactly what you want though. The $35 savings you'll get from having them make one they made before is a little pointless on something this personal
I've come up with an idea and I want to pursue it for a week or so. I'm wondering if I can't find someone that does 3-D printing to make us some plastic ones. Would it be as nice as the billet, no. Could I possibly find someone that can make them for $25 each, possibly. If we can do that it would be possible that we could each get our own design as well. I would like to get (and this is just a 3 second idea) "EXCURSION and then the radioactive sign" or "EXCURSION and below APOCALYPSE". Hell, maybe just one that says "APOCALYPSE", why the hell not!
Just an idea, but I'm going to look into it to see it it is a viable option. I will still be pursuing the billet badges for the forum as well though and giving it my 100% so no worries
