It hasn't necessarily been a winter for plowing here yet but I've been wondering what people are using for plow setups on their dents and how big of a plow these trucks can even handle.
How does your truck handle the plow? I've been debating at some point in the future if I want to make up some kind of quick connect and disconnect for the plow unit like you can get on the newer trucks but we'll see if that happens ever.

I never plowed with the 150, but the 250 handles the plow just fine. These old straight axle trucks were good candidates to receive plows.
I ended up building some brackets to mount a boss plow on mine. Its nice, because they can be removed quickly. The pushbeam for a 90's chevy is almost the same width as the 70's F150 frame. Just have to build drop down and kickback brackets. I also had to upgrade to a good battery, but it works quite well.
