Rear Window Hatch Shocks

I think my rear window shocks are shot. Last week when the temps hit -15 they completely failed. Are these a rebuild-able shock or do I need to purchase new ones? If new ones are needed, does anyone have a lead on where to purchase them?

Why do I have a bad feeling that this will be an overpriced item????

Not a purchase location but this thread talks about changing the rear hatch supports for different lift heights. If you are replacing them you may want to make the change.

Just swap them out with the longer ones, it's the greatest thing since sliced bread or whatever. That thread has the place to order from online and I fully endorse them myself. I bought mine from there and they have worked great to this day.

Just replaced mine today with the longer ones. Took all of 15 minutes with no help and the added clearance is great.

I had to replace mine last week. I went with the longer ones for a 4x2. I didn't even realized how heavy that the hatch actually is.
