Dead bronco II
I know one I encountered was the headlight switch. I didnt have any interior lights so I went and got one from the junkyard. Stilll didnt have and interior lights so I got another Headlight switch. After hours and hours of tracing electrical problems I went and bought a headlight switch from the factory switch. It works now, after pulling two bad switches from other Bronco II's

The 2.9 L engine in the later models likes to crack heads if overheated.
TFI ignition module likes to cut out.
Later models had a CV-style (not double cardon, rezeppa style CV-joints) rear driveshaft that, while functional, is expensive to fix when the joints wear out.
Some of the transmissions used don't have a good reputation (A4LD, FM146)
Radius arm bushings.
Electronic 4x4 shift motors get dirty and won't shift the t-case.

once I figure out how to get the A4LD torque convertor clutch to kick in and out automatically without the EEC-IV computer no longer running things.
