Hello all. I just signed up with you guys. Seems like a good site. Anyway, to my question. I'm looking to buy a truck for the winter. I just bought a 99 Mercury Cougar and I don't want to drive it that much. I want to make it a show car and I don't like driving it in this nasty snow we're getting in NY. So I was looking in the paper and found a 1986 Bronco II for 2800 bucks. It has 84,000 miles on it, 4x4, v6, ac (which doesnt work well, needs to be charged). I'm going to look at it tonight and I want to know if there is anything to be aware about. Or is the price too high? My girlfriends father went to look at it and he said its a good deal. He knows quite a bit about cars so I trust him. But I heard from others that it's not a good truck. If this truck seems to run good, does it sound like a good deal?
