Interior Light Switch

Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone is having a good Christmas holiday!

I would like to add a switch to control/kill the interior lights but till allow the running board lights to operate as usual. Has anyone done this on a 2005 Ex? I have been going thru old threads and I am not sure if this switch kills the running board lights too. This option is about the only thing I miss from my old GMC Safari. I also read somewhere on an old post that the back interior light is not affected by this mod. I would like to have control on all the interior lights. I have a nice simple black switch which I would like to add up in the console in between the vent window switches to control this. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

The '05 interior override is easy, and won't effect running board lights. Pass side kick panel has the wire you need, just search for interior dome override.
