Hi, i have a 1970 F-250 with what i believe is a 360. Truck vin comes up as having a 360 from factory. I just want to know what date the engine was produced. Below oil filter adapter you see 0C6 then right below that is a larger letter E. I've looked and can't find a code that matches this. Some places say that the block will have numbers cast into the block on passenger side, and I don't see any other numbers other than the ones under oil filter adapter. Also, would the C8AE-H heads be stock to a '70 360?

Welcome to FTE

0C6 = Engine block cast March (C) 6, 1970 (0).

C8AE-H heads: 1968/71 360/390. 1972 heads are marked D2TE-AA
