That sounds like a lot of fun! I'm just a grunt, so I miss out on anything that doesn't involve physical detail labor.

Does contracting with the USAF mount up as gov service? If it does, you're on the happy highway to a damn fine retirement!!!

Contractors have plans outside govt service; however their work is vital to DoD. :beers:

Thanks Tommy! It's a work in progress though. When I get back from leave, I'll be starting to tear down the rest of her. Engine rebuild and modifications are a great way to spend that deployment money!

I regret that I shall no longer be active on FTE/IB.

I was offered a chance to be in on the ground floor of a new site - which some of you know of, and that in fairness I cannot name here.

I can't split my time all over the web. That would be the act of a fool. As well there have been certain - "indiscretions" that I had to look at and decide on. The result of it all is that I have packed my seabag and transferred to a new command.

That is all.

See ya there, I applied for a PCS with a DA 4651, but will probably end up being there on a TDY status only. lol Besides we all know what TDY is like.
