Help, I rebuilt my HPOP 1999 7.3 But over tightened one of the high pressure oil ports and 3 months later it blew the threads out of housing. wondering if I can fix with timesert.or keysert ,keensert. Any suggestions please
How did you rebuild your HPOP? Where did you get the parts? Or did you just replace the o-rings and re-seal it?
Once you blow the fitting out of the pump, I'd just go ahead and replace the pump. That fitting has to be able to hold up to 3,500 psi or so and you can't let any metal shavings from the tapping process get into the oil system without risking damage to the injectors.

I'm with Chris on this one it is junk ! Trying to repair it you could cause damage to your injectors. Unless you took the pump totally apart repaired the pump housing and put it all back together. But even then I don't know if I would trust it.
And I do not think you can use your's as a core for a T500 you would have to check. Terminator T500 HPOP - Riffraff Diesel Performance
So I would think it might work for the Bosch pump once again you will have to check. Bosch 17° HPOP 96-03 - Riffraff Diesel Performance
