I have a 2001 f350 super duty with the 7.3 diesel. It seams lately I'm noticing the front end seams to be taking a beating when going over bumps or rail road tracks. It feels like the front is bottoming out. I replaced the shocks in april, and just recently replaced the sway bar links to see if that will help. My thought is the front springs have lost there arch, but I'm not sure. They do look like there almost flat. Don't know if this is a problem on other trucks. Any ideas, thanks.
All the shock bushings are there, I'm going to replace the spring shackle bushing and see if that helps. The springs look inverted and a local 4 wheel drive shop suggest there worn as well. At static height there's about 3" of shock travel available. Also, having issue uploading pictures.

It is common for them to sag 1/2" in 100k miles and they are supposed to be de-arched and many Ford springs are. Nothing a couple of front rear shackles won't fix.
A ford super duty from 99-04 do not have dearched springs, they have a smile to them. The excursions on the othrr hand did come with dearched springs, now like ever other SD with non X code front springs yours are worn out and are sagging badly. Either add new OEM springs or a aftermarket level spring i have pro comp part number 22210 front springs and absolutely love them
