So I wanted to go LED with my 2015 truck. As my wife's car has LEDs on it from the factory...

I noticed that with all of my incandescent bulbs on the truck after driving with them on for a short period of time, the snow and ice melt off. The cab lights are good at causing the snow on the front part of the roof to melt and drain don the windshield too. Anyways, Her car - the snow/ice NEVER melt off... Thinking that I don't live in a climate where it is a good idea to have a light that doesn't generate heat.

I got my LEDs from LEDTrailerLights.com - LED Truck, Trailer and RV Lights and Lighting Products! seems to be high quality stuff. I just did the front and rear dome lights.

and so far, few have reported great gains with the LED enclosures..
I run DDM HIDs in stock enclosures and love them. It took a while to get the bulbs oriented correctly to give the best light. The lights are bright but they don't seem to bother oncoming drivers.

I run 6k HID's in my stock headlights. They are the style that move for high beams. I rarely get flashed, maybe once every other month or so. Interior dome lights are Putco panels.
