Morning guys, I'm looking to upgrade my 2011 F350 lighting to LED throughout the truck (save headlights until those prices come back down to earth). I was curious to know if anyone has found somewhere that sells a full vehicle kit instead of having to weed through individual bulbs.
I'm finding that it can be a real pain in the *** having to pick them one at a time or by pairs. Plus the dollar signs go up quickly when buying individually. Thinking that if someone sold a whole vehicle kit, $$$ could be saved.
I'm would also like to know what brands are good and which brands of LED's to avoid. Everyone selling them says that their brand is "The BEST!"
Any help and/or opinions on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
Andre, did you do the whole truck or just the headlights? How do you like the headlights with the LED's? Does the reflector work well with the LED or do you get a mot of light scatter?

I did the interior and all exterior except the headlights. I have Recon projectors with HIDs from the Retrofit Source.
I'm just looking to replace them all so they'll be brighter and I'll theoretically never have to change out a burnt out bulb again. Plus, I like the instant on/off action of the LED, no fade on and off like an incandescent.
In "theory" you would be correct, but as someone who spent a bunch of money buying LED's with Harley stamped on the boxes, it is only a theory. Half of my "Harley" LED's are out. Thankfully, they are covered by warranty, but being LED doesn't mean you will get better service necessarily. It is hard to figure out what quality is when buying. Sometimes you get lucky and other times not. I bought name brand and believe I would still be running the original incandescents had I not replaced them with the Harley branded LED's purchased at the Harley dealership.

You're right, After a career in the oil field dealing with electrical components, I know that even the best quality products can fail. That's why I was hoping someone had found a supplier who sells true "quality" stuff and stands behind it if and when it does fail.

Really not trying to rain on your parade. Buy them because they are cool and you want them - not because you will save money or hassle down the road! You don't need an excuse to get what you want. It is your money!

Once again, I agree with you on the cool factor, and the money savings aren't my driving force with this. (But like everyone, I like a good deal when it comes along.)
Also still curious if anyone has found an all-in-one kit to replace them all. I know they are out there, bc a guy I work with bought a kit a while back but can't remember exactly where he got it from.
I like a good deal too, and am looking forward to seeing an answer to your original question. I have never seen an inclusive kit, so that would be great! I hope someone can help you out!
If you go to superbrightleds and enter your truck, the site tells you all the bulbs you need and then you decide which one you want out of the choices they give you. It's not hard.
Will the standard headlight enclosures work with LED's, or do you need to upgrade the enclosures...I'm looking at PutCo lights right now, but haven't pulled the trigger.

so far it seems the stock enclosures are not good for HID or LED upgrade.
and so far, few have reported great gains with the LED enclosures..
