Myself, I'd keep what you have. V10's are getting harder and harder to come by- F150's are a dime a dozen. You have a great truck, it is reliable, you know it, and you aren't going to wear it out anytime soon. But, that's me- I get to know a truck, then stick with it.
1. My opinion, never buy a brand new anything off the lot. Get a 1 year old trade-in that still has 3-4 years of warranty, and don't flush 6 grand or more down the toilet.
2. If you don't have a 5 Star tuner yet, DO NOT sell your truck until you try one. It will change your life.
I've had the 5 star for several years now. Since gas has dropped so much I have been running the 91 perf tune. Sweet!
Truck Trend did an unofficial test a couple years ago where they gave 2 rodeo team roping teams one 5.0 and one V-6 Turbo to see what the real word mileage would be. Of course, it depends on driving situations, but the 5.0 beat the V-6 by a bunch like 16 for the turbo and 24 for the 5.0, and that was pulling a horse trailer with 2 horses each.
I'm not doubting that you read that, but I find it very hard to believe.
8 months ago I took a trip from northern NY to Florida with a 2013 F150 with 5.0 pulling a 7x14 enclosed trailer with 2 Harleys in it. The 6 speed spent most of it's time in 4th gear and it would up doing 8.5 MPG most of the time.
At home, local driving I would see 15 sometimes, but usually high 13's/low 14's. Barely better than my 2014 F250 with a 6.2.

I've been debating myself. I've never been big on gadgets but backup camera would be nice, well and cupholders, door pockets, and an armrest of some sort so my arm doesn't just dangle would be nice (though I don't consider these gadgets, they really should be 'standard' lol). I tend to use the F350 for almost everything, and have never pulled anything that a properly equipped 150 couldn't. But there are so many non-pulling advantages to the 350 in my mind. One thing is the long bed / crew cab. I can pack up the whole extended family, 2 dogs, and a few days worth of camping gear and bicycles, etc. I also tend to do most of my hauling in-bed... heck I've had the 350 overloaded on the rear axle plenty of times with gravel, firewood, pellets, etc. I like being able to slide my kayak in the bed without needing a special kayak rack and things like that.
This is a preference more than functional, but I also really like the 6 speed manual, manual xfer, and manual hubs. Think I'd really miss the handshacker getting a 150. And the V10, of course. I imagine my resale isn't so good with an all manual setup & v10, so probably loose out there. Its getting to be a pretty rare sight to see.
Maybe I should look at some new tires, that would make the commutes a little easier. I took a pretty noticeable hit in mpg when I went from the stock contis to the far better Duratracs, but they hit me hard in the mpg.
Still need to try that 5 star tune folks talk about, just so many other things that need money at the moment like my house.
