I tend to disagree. I've seen (photos of) your truck and while it isn't one solid body color, it's a cool looking truck.
Some people are short-sighted and can only see something, as it presently looks. Others have the ability to see the potential of what something can be.
....in many cases, people should beware of multicolored or primered vehicles --the money was usually spent under the hood.

Ha!! You guys are funny!
I am hoodless again. Supposedly Scott Drake says I'll get the shaker hood scoop on the 20th of this month. I do not believe them. I paid for it in April.
As far as I'm concerned, Scott Drake sucks. They've stroked me for 9 months. My truck will be straight and painted by the end of 2015. With a shaker hood scooped hood. My buddy will do the bodywork and I will paint. I'm going with a 69 Mach1 Grabber Blue paint scheme with the semi-gloss black center section on the hood and possibly some 69 Mustang semi-gloss black striping.

So if I see this right it will have a '69 Mach I look?
Paint-wise and with the scoop; yes.
Time will tell is this is a feasible idea.
I wonder if you could get a set of wheels that style for the truck. Of course with whatever width and correct bolt circle. Solid bed cover with the Mustang wing?

I'm pretty set on the wheel combo I have now. I'd thought about fabbing a flat NASCAR-style spoiler onto my tailgate but it's an NOS tailgate and I didn't want to mess with it.

I wouldn't mess with the tailgate either. I would love to find a NOS tailgate. I think I may go a different route though. I am thinking rebranding mine a Mercury.
Overall I like the truck. If I had money to burn I would buy it just to have a nice 4x4 like that. The color isn't high on my list, but could be worse.
Who was the fellow that restomod'd the blue/white 4x4? Can't say the name for the life of me. Paul? Nelson? Wonder what kind of money he put into his? Maybe not $26K, but more then $10K.
Unfortunately these trucks don't have a big following(rich ones anyway) that will blow big money to have it(unlike cars). Make it a shortbed chiverlay and it would bring all kinds of stupid money.
This past summer there was a '96 F150 with like 15K miles, the guy wanted $20K for it? Calling it a "20 yr old new" truck. Never get that kind of money no matter how nice. The market will only bear so much and it was still only a $5-6K truck no matter how nice it was. I wanted it in the worst way...but never at that kind of price.

Aw yes, I remember the truck white & light blue. I think he said 20k.
But he switched it over to auto c6 from stick also if that's the one your thinking about.
I'm not sure how much, I've got in mine since having it so long now.
Replacing the replaced parts again. I'll be done with mine when I stop finding things to do to it or die first. But my son will end up with it so don't really care how much I dump in as it gives me something to do in going fast going Golden yrs.
My new latest upgrade is some under hood insulation, I am working on.
Plus filling extra mirror holes in the door & trim moulding holes.

Where is the pic's of your truck. Ya all are talking about it and
I would love to see it. Nothing I can find in your gallery or Albums
that ya don't seem to have.

Bobby's truck is a heap! He has video of it as well. To look at it you see a mildly lowered SWB Styleside. It's what he is hiding under the hood. Well if he had a hood. He says it is in the 13s but I think he is lying to lure suckers in.

There were several original wheel styles available for the Mach 1 but, two of the more common choices could have been either plain steel wheels with beauty rings and dog dish hub caps or, Magnum 500 wheels.
Although not cheap, a set of American Racing AR 500s look really good on a Bumpside truck.

They aren't cheap --over $300.00 per wheel and I haven't looked too deep into it to know if they come in a 5 on 5.5" lug pattern but, they definitely look good on a Bump. The photos confirm that.
