Target training states the voltage to be with the Key on engine off to be .95 volts DC backprobing the center wire at the TPS sensor, I have found also if the voltage is above 1.0 volts, the Ford engines like to race up and down like it does not know what to do.
Hope this helps, Electric1
The reason I asked the question is because the truck won't pull with my trailer attatched. at wot I read 4.70 volts at the center term on the tps koeo. I have been having this problem for years. I've added a US gear underdrive which gives me a 4.20 final drive ratio. I also tested my fuel pumps for proper pressure and flow. they tested ok. I replaced my ecu with the latest ford upgrade. I checked my total ignition advance,it is ok. I went to a 3 inch exhaust and checked my cat. The map sensor tests ok also. The only thing left is the TPS and the injectors. I would appreciate any help I can get. With my 9,000 lb 5th wheel attatched the gas peddle feels like a sponge. It cruses ok until I start climbing a grade.
