Got gas today for the F150 and Diesel was the same price as Premium (which for the price difference, was what I was putting in the little peppy bi-turbo'd truck): $6.099/gal. But then I drove to another small town, along the South Fork of the American River (read tourist in summer), where the accountant that is handling the trust taxes is, and it was $6.399 for Diesel and Premium Unleaded.

I'm holding my breath (not) for our Gov'ner to repeal our uber high state fuel taxes...

$4.99 to $5.09 for the most part in NOVA as long as you’re west of “real” NOVA

Gas Buddy says that that one of the local Costco's price is down 6¢.
I got that after I filled the car up last night. Truck is still no where near
needing fuel yet.

My local Conoco dropped from 4.95 to 4.87 plus the .25 discount. Yeah I'm bragging.

Well, I donno if this might be the best price in Furnace Creek Ca. But since it's the only station in Furnace Creek I guess it is the only price!!

I stayed in the RV park directly behind this station on Wednesday night 23 MAR and walked out to snapped this picture!

This is NOT a joke! The Jeep rental company right next door told us that the customers that rent his jeeps to tour Death Valley usually end up buying anywhere from 10-15 gallons when they return them.

Makes one think about what one should be thinking this coming November huh?

Here's another shot on the other side of the sign right before the truck parked next to it.

We have friends in Cody, WY - in fact we're buying a horse from that area, so have been talking to them quite a bit. Diesel is running $4.74 right now (they like to rub in all things cost related, trying to get us to move there...). I think you'll be fine...

Grew up in rural east Texas where a similar script plays out. They move out to escape where they come from and commence transforming it exactly into what they left behind. I miss the way it was and most of the old guard have passed on ... different breed.

Thanks for posting this. We usually go there this time of year. Wife likes it. I to buy from that station but never thought it would be quiet that high. Last year I got bad fuel from them to. Didn't know till I got home and changed the filter, full of junk. Thank God for that filter. Ridiculous.

Just got home from taking my father on a 200 mile round trip to see one of his college roommates. I fueled near dad’s house at $6.199/gal (best price) and then drove south. The lowest price we could read from the freeway (I-5) was $6.099/gal at Willows with some stations being much closer to $7.00/gal.
