Check engine light

The check engine light on my 2010 4cyl escape came on but is running fine, does that happen sometimes? Like could you have gotten bad gasoline? It's got about 80000 miles on it and had the throttle body changed about 18 months ago!

Go get the fault codes read. There are dozens of things that can cause the light to come on.

Aye; take it to an auto parts store and have them read the codes for you (O'Reilly will even print out the definitions and things to look at)
