Engine Light
Driving around today i looked down and noticed that my check engine light was on. Well first i laughed because i thought check engine lights were a joke on a non OB-ll vehicle. Then i was wondering what had happend becuase it had already turned back off. I went to auto zone to see if they could scan a 92 F-150 and they said no. Is this true or did they just not wanna take the time. Because ive read on here some people have got there ran. do i have to soemhoe trigger this light to go back off and count or what? Any idears? Thanks

as for how the truck is running, 2 things that are really bugging me are that the transmission shifts as what i feel is way to early, like its in super economy mode or that there just isnt enough power for it to shift that early. another thing that its doing is after shofting at steady throttle, or going uphils or when more throlltle is applied beofre it downshifts is that it ticks clicks pretty hardcore. Kinda annoying not sure what it is. Thanks guys
