I have a 73 f250 4x4 with a 390. I am replacing my radiator, and the part tag on it says 1080433. I searched on the internet with no matches. I saw a 8010433 on Rock Auto parts that was supposed to fit my truck, but I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem before. I hate to order the wrong part. Thanks
They were also great to speak with on the phone!!!!!!!! and I was very impressed with the direct responses to my questions and the quality of the radiator I received!
That 433 part number will fit '73-'79 trucks. It should measure 19.25 by 26 inches between the tanks. Most replacements are now PTR's (Plastic and aluminum), but there are copper/brass and all-aluminum units out there.
Thanks for the replies. I found a radiator on Ebay for a third the price. I went with the aluminum/plastic. Since I have replaced most everything else in the system, I am going to replace the heater core and have a whole new system.
