New Radiator

Replaced radiator, degas bottle, and hoses last week at Ford dealer. The hoses and degas bottle are obviously a new design. They said the radiator was also a new improved version, however, I am not sure if that is true. The part number is 8C3Z-8009-B 08806. Does anyone know if there is a new radiator design? It does appear different along the joint between the plastic end tanks and the aluminum core. But I didn't pay that much attention to the original radiator so am not sure. There is a metal strip all the way along the joint that is crimped to both the tank and the core. Thanks for any factual info on this.

Subscribing..I still have my original so I can't comment. To the best of my knowledge there was not any redesign.

The "8C..." leading the part number tells me the part has not been changed since 2008.
