Radiator

Is it safe to say that any radiator in any V8 powered 1973-1979 F150-F350 is interchangeable?

Is it the radiator support that is different?

I have a 3core 19 1/4 X 26 1/4 and I want to put in a 4 core. I'm trying to figure out what issues im going to run into if any.

AFAIK the radiator support for a 2WD and 4x4 are different with the 4x4 requiring a longer radiator. Then there are differences in the radiator core width and thickness per application. Check with an online radiator store for application information or check the books at a local radiator shop. 3-core radiators are good enough for most applications but 4-core radiators are used in HD applications.
