the 390 engine in my f-250 cam out of a car,a 1 ton vista crusier to be exact, the only problem i am not sure of is the oil pan it has the deep part in the middle which makes it a pain to change oil because it is right above the cross member can i change the pan to one out of a truck so it drains out the back and what would i get it off of?
That's pretty typical, even my stock 300s ran oil all over the cross member. Never heard of a 1 ton vista cruiser car or a center sump FE oil pan. Most are front sump except the 4x4s.

What is a 'vista cruiser'? The only ones I know of were Oldsmobiles.
i don't know if it was a vista cruiser but it was a big huge station wagon with overhead windows in the back, seats ten kids plus two adults. the kind your parents took on long trips and you were stuck in the very back.
^ Country Sedan & Country Squire, the Squire had fiberglass rails and decals that emulated the look of real wood. These elephantine behemoths weighed over 5,000 lbs.

A Vista Cruiser is an Oldsmobile station wagon, had a V shaped window in the roof above the 2nd row seats.
1966 was the first year for the Country Sedan/Squire 'Magic Door Gate' that could be opened flat or from the right side like a door. The 3rd row seat faces to the rear.
1968/73 Galaxie/LTD available with a 429 as an option.
