Oil Pan Clearence Fe engine
Can anyone point me in a direction to get an oil pan for a 75 F150 390 that holds at least 6 & 1/2 quarts and will clear the crossmember. Tried Milodon & Moroso deep sump pans but neither clear, need a pan that is wider on sides and maybe front, but not deeper.

Michael, have you looked at Canton ? They make some very nide trays and pans for FEs. They also have on available a wide front sump pan with rounded corners that fits the TwinIbeam suspension that trucks have. DF

Yes, I'm sure it clears. Canton heard from guys like Campell and modified the pans design to allow a problem free fit. Do be sure and tell them it is going in a truck, you don't want to get the car-style pan by mistake. DF
