. The skidoo will ride better be lighter and better mpg. 
. I told him to look at the 1200 also. He did a little but likes the higher HP sleds. 1200 will be my next upgrade

I really have no problem with Ski-Doo, but we stocked a motor, and cranks for 800s. Never did for anything else. Only motor we ever stocked. Junk...

It was a pretty good year for us all in all... Every month has it's unique challenges and there are highs and lows all through the year.. In the end though, I am still on the right side of the lawn, so I can't complain too much..

which 800? there was the one in the zx chassis, not sure if that one was used in the rev, 07 the p-tech 800 came out and in 11 the e-tech came out. Unfortunately the 1000sdi wasn't the most reliable either.

You mean the Ptech. That one sounds hit or miss on reliability. The etech was introduced in 11 but that one seems good. Kind of like the 6.0. Can be good when fortified with some aftermarket goodies

Etec is what I mean. Yes the xp chassis sleds with 800 ptec started the 800 problems. But the etec 800s are considered a 3 year engine replacement. From skidoo even...

Took a look at the parts sled today. It is a bit rough to say the least. I should be able to make a running motor though. I might take the handle bars and riser. Had a throttle extension too.
