1965 f250

i just bought a 65 f250 last week. It has a 240 6 cylinder in it and doesnt run.I have a 351 windsor that was in a bronco that i am going to put in it and do a few other minor things to it. Then just drive it. My first truck was a 66 f100 and wanted another ever since.Iforgot i only gave 700 dollars for it i think it was pretty cheap

Looks to be a pretty decent truck. Congrats.

Any stock oil pan (2wd or 4wd) on the 351 will clear the front cross member. There might be an issue with the oil drain plug location being in a hard to reach.

A Bronco would have had a rear sump pan, as would other 4wd rigs. You won't have any tie rod clearance issues either.

Good luck

The 302 and the 351W use different oil pans.

The difference is around the rear main bearing. The W motor has larger mains than the small blocks.
