how to pull engine codes

So went to to the electrical link at the beginning of this section and it seems the page is missing.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/lc/lc.ph...om%2F%3Fp%3D13

Can someone please post the procedure for pulling the codes.

My 95 F250 4x4 5.8L 5SP is just cranking with no start. I noticed awhile back that when it was damp out that it was having a harder time starting but now it just spins and I'm smelling heavy gas so I'm assuming it's starting to flood at this point.

Thanks for any help.

Yeah, there a bunch of those broken links in the sticky. Try this

Thanks for the link. I found the problem. I'll need a new cap and wires. I sprayed the cap with wd-40 and let it sit for about 10 minutes. It fired after it was able to dump the extra gas in the cylinders.

Glad it was something cheap and easy.

As an exercise you might want to pull codes anyway and see if anything else is complaining. There can be codes reported as well as stored even if the CEL isn't on.

Yeah, I got it pulled into my driveway. It's gonna have to wait a week. I have to go to Florida tomorrow.
