Crank, No Start

Okay I just got done putting a new water pump and fan clutch in my 2006 F350. Everything went well, thanks to the tips I found on this site. I ran the truck after the install and everything sounded and looked great. Today I jumped in it and it started and ran fine. I went for a ride and stopped at the store on the way back, After I got out of the store and tried to start my truck it would crank and not start. I noticed that the new fan clutch wiring harness was cut by the fan. My question is, is it possible that the fan clutch harness being cut would cause the no start. Or am I looking at a FICM problem or HPOP problem. Any help would be appreciated.

It is possible that the cut wire is your issue, but it usually is a no-crank also.

Also - look at fuse F2-22 (20A Engine Controls)

Okay I got up this morning to start working on my truck. I decided to try and start it first. To my surprise it started right up. Unfortunately I didn't get to excited about. I got the truck up to a good running temp and shut the it down. I then waited a couple minutes and tried to restart it. That's when I got crank and no start again. So it seems to be no starting when truck is warm. Any Ideas? I am leaning towards HPOP. any way to check that?

Do you have gauges? You really need an OBD2 gauge, scangauge, Torque, Edge to name a few. Then you can post your results and get some help.

For HPO check IPR % and ICP pressure when cranking. You need 500psi for engine to start.

Okay thanks guys I will get out there and check. This site has been a big help and you guys really have got me through some stuff. I refuse to have a dealer charge me triple for fixing something when I am capable to comprehend what you guys post on this site and do the work myself.

Also look for FICM sync and cam/crank sync when you get the no-start, but the no-start warm points to the HPO system (as Woodlander has posted). Being an 06, the pump would be the last item on the list to worry about - it can fail, but it is not common.

Okay my ICP pressure is at 51 at start up or when I try to start it, I should say. Yes my wires are fixed. I have had a chance to check the IPR%. iCPVoltage was at .9

The voltage looks OK - Needs 0.82V minimum, so you are above that - but the pressure is not correct (doesn't match the volts). Try starting it w/ the ICP disconnected, but make sure the CTS reading is correct ICP pressure also.

I have done the air test and I heard air leaking. I heard the air out of the oil fill cap, so I am guessing that the leak is on the passenger side. After thinking about it I decided to tear both sides down and remove the turbo to get to the STC fitting I figure if one thing is bad and there are other thing that are known to fail, I might as well replace all. So I got it all tore down and did the air test again. Now I am getting nothing, except for a small leak from behind the HPOP which I heard is normal. I am still going to change the dummy plugs and STC fitting since they are known to fail on the 05+. I am going to leave the standpipes in, unless I heard wrong about these not failing often. What I would like to know is, why was I hearing a air leak before the tear down and now I hear nothing. I thought that tearing it down it would help me pin point the culprit of my HPO leak.
