I am still going to change the dummy plugs and STC fitting since they are known to fail on the 05+. I am going to leave the standpipes in, unless I heard wrong about these not failing often. What I would like to know is, why was I hearing a air leak before the tear down and now I hear nothing. I thought that tearing it down it would help me pin point the culprit of my HPO leak.
It could very well be that in the time it took you to disassemble it that it had cooled down enough to reseal the leaking oring. On a side note I would replace the standpipes as well while you are in there, they have updated the standpipes as well. You can buy them in a kit that has standpipes and dummy plugs. just make sure on reassembly that you blow all of the bolt holes out with compressed air to get any liquid out so you know you are getting proper torque on the bolts.

Copy that mustang, I feel I am lost I went and replaced the standpipes, dummy plugs, and STC fitting. While it is still all opened up what else can I do to make sure I solved my issue? I would hate to put it all back together and still have the problem. I know 98% of the time on a 05+ the pump doesn't go bad, how can I check to make sure.

Okay here is another situation to my ongoing problem. I decided to clean my turbo as long as I had the turbo out for the other repairs needed or not. So come to find out the unison ring was siezed to the turbo. After getting the ring off and I cleaned it the ring itself seems fine no real wear and the vanes are in good shape as well no pitting or anything like that. So my question is, would this also play in affect to the no hot start.

It won't affect hot no start.

Look at the seals at the top of the injectors, if they look like they are kind of eroded away, then your leak may be at the HPO rail itself. Not sure if you went as far as to remove the rails but if not it may not be a bad idea. If the nipple on the oil rail feels loose then the O-rings are likely bad.

I have a few O-rings I saved from a truck I did not too long ago I will see if I can get a good enough shot of them to show you how bad they can get, and it will cause a hot no start.

One thing you can do is look at the orings on the old standpipes and dummy plugs to see if you can see a bad oring. The standpipe/dummy plug kit also comes with orings for the small plugs located on the top side of the oil rail ( one on each side ) make sure you change those as well.

Okay I will change those o rings. The I rings on the dummy plugs and standpipes did not look that bad. So I am guessing the culprit was actually the STC fitting. All changed goin to change the O rings you mentioned and put it back together. Hopefully by the weekend I will back in business. Thanks.
