Not sure what it all means but i have a feeling it sounds like a injector might be bad.
As some of you know. I just recently bought this truck. Done a ton of stuff in the last week. First real run after all repairs and maintenance. Was on the highway coming home from the tranny flush service and ran a scan...P0269 came up.
Any suggestions on what I should do next.
98k on truck. Running t6 oil with arcoil.
Thank you all.
Hmmm .. maybe I wrote that down wrong. I cleared the codes. I'm sure it will come back. Lol
Would that be an injector? Or a bent pushrod?
It could be either but I would clear it and see if it comes back. You would notice a dead injector. If it feels like its running good with no rough idle I wouldn't worry about it unless it returns.
Yea...I cleared it. Then took the truck for a power tset ride. Truck runs and idles great. Once in a great while.. I think I hear a small.. tiny studder per say. Really got to be paying attention to hear it. Keep in mind 2 that I just purchased the truck and it has been sitting. I've done a ton of work to it including t6 oil with arcoil. I'm also running Lucas fuel injection cleaner. Hoping this will clean up the injectors... hoping.

Just make sure the lucas product does NOT contain alcohol as this can cause water to go into solution and end up at the injectors which is one way injectors fail by way of the injector tip cracking from water in the fuel.
Ohh crap.. didn't know that .. Thank you. What product would you recommend? I know arcoil makes a fuel additive. I'm really happy with their oil side stuff.
