E450 no rear heat

Hello
This is the bus in question, a 2006:

I drive this for a local band.
The heat works fine in the cab, but the rear only blows cold air (there are separate fan switches for front and rear.)
What I wonder is would this truck have come with a separate heater core for the rear. If so, where is this located?
The rear is by Starcraft. I have the schematic for the main electrical panel for the rear, which includes wiring for rear heat.
There is also a rear AC system by TransAir with the condenser mounted behind the cab, driver's side.

I've been through several helpful threads about the vacuum system for the vents. I just wonder if there is a separate blend door for the rear heat which might not be working.
Thank you!

What you have there is a "cut-away" van, with an aftermarket body, where it be a RV, Cube Van body, or in your case, a Bus.

Most of us deal with the Ford van from the "B" pillar forward.

What your asking relates to the aftermarket body, and who know what heater unit was installed in that.

It might be best to investigate the manufacturer of the body, for parts and service?

I'm not saying that you posted incorrectly, it's just related to the one-off body and not anything that FoMoCo would have parts for, or knowledge of.

But........to answer your general question.........there could be a problem with a heater valve and or a blocked heater hose(s) from the engine, to the rear heater causing your problem. There also should be a heater coil inside the rear unit.
A good flushing with just a garden hose might clear up your problem.

The best advice I can offer is first investigate how the rear heating unit works---is it warmed by engine coolant running through some sort of rear mounted coil? If so is there any sort of valve or other flow control that might affect flow?

I have to think but am not sure the engine coolant alone would be enough to heat that large a box though.

As Wildman suggests it might be best to contact someone locally more familiar with the Trans Air system and/or Starcraft's general way of adding rear heat.

I also speculate this bus does NOT have a Ford-type rear heat/AC unit simply because it began life as a cut away chassis.
